Dr. Seuss has always been one of our favorite authors! His books are so fun to read! Of course every year we need to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday. This year we made a fun Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Paper Plate Craft. They turned out so cute! We have included the template for your to download for free.
What’s great about this activity is that it is very easy for children to make on their own. We’re all about fun, simple crafts!

Here’s what you need for the Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Paper Plate Craft
- Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Template
- Construction Paper
- Crayons / Markers / Colored Pencils
- Popsicle Stick and 9″ Paper Plate
- Scissors and Glue
What to Do:
① Print out the Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat template and gather your art supplies.
② Color the pictures.
③ Cut out the pieces following the outer black lines.
④ Glue the pieces to your paper plate and add a popsicle stick to the back. Enjoy!
