Our Snap Cube Shapes focus on shape identification, shape formation, handwriting, and fine motor skills! We love using hands-on materials when we’re learning. Our children stay engaged and having fun! In this activity, they will put the snap cubes together in the same shape on the mat. They will then trace the shapes on the page.
About our Snap Cube Shapes
This activity is an immediate digital PDF download (it will not be emailed to you). You will need a PDF viewer installed to access this activity.
This product includes:
- 13 pages total
- 5 snap cube mats in color and 5 snap cube mats in black and white
- 2 shapes per page that can be cut in half
- The following 10 shapes are included: square, circle, rectangle, triangle, oval, heart, diamond, parallelogram, cross, and arrow.
- Due to how snap cubes link together, these are approximations of the shape and may not be completely like the actual shape, i.e. circle and oval don’t have the normal curve as snap cubes are square shaped.
The prep is easy! Simply print this activity in color or black and white and laminate. Then grab some snap cubes and a whiteboard marker.
